Power off the DJI Air 3S before changing filters. Remove the original lens cover, align the selected Freewell filter with the camera mount, and attach it gently until it sits flat and secure. After powering on the drone, let the gimbal complete its startup movement before taking off.
Pick the filter based on the scene. Use ND/PL filters for bright daylight when you also want to reduce glare. Rotate the polarizer carefully while checking the live camera view, because the effect changes with the angle of the sun. Use ND512 or ND1000 only when you specifically want long-exposure style results, not for ordinary fast setup flying.
